Duma Video specializes in professional quality real-time broadcast encoding of High Definition and Standard Definition television. Our IP cores can compress 1080p, 720p, and 480p (as well as the interlaced versions) into a single 4:2:2 or 4:2:0 MPEG-2 elementary stream on a single FPGA in real-time. Our IP cores include the bit parallel interfaces (10 or 20) to deserializers as well as the interface to DDR RAM. Our IP suite also includes real-time encoding of two channel AES/EBU audio, embedded and extracted from video bit stream, into either MPEG layer 2 or MPEG layer 3. We provide: Video and audio extraction from SMPTE 274m and SMPTE 125m bit streams Video and audio real-time compression with full search motion estimation Generation of either separate video and audio elementary streams or a single packetized elementary stream.
