CAN LogiCORE IP Products Ordering and Registration Instructions

Access to the Xilinx® CAN LogiCORE™ IP product lounge (includes Xilinx CAN, XPS CAN and OPB_CAN LogiCORE IP products) , or "Lounge", is password protected. Passwords are available only to licensed CAN LogiCORE IP customers. The lounge provides the most current information and update information for the CAN LogiCORE IP products.

As described in the registration process below, you must provide a valid Product Serial Number during the Lounge registration process.

The sole purpose of the information provided in the lounges is to help you develop designs for Xilinx devices. Xilinx reserves the right to deny access to the LogiCORE IP Lounges. Please read the CAN Site License Agreement.

The CAN Site License Agreement defines two categories of Licensees:

Licensees using Xilinx CAN LogiCORE IP for XA Class Devices
Licensees using Xilinx CAN LogiCORE IP for Non-XA Class Devices

XA CLASS DEVICES

NON-XA CLASS DEVICES

Licensees for Automotive applications must use the CAN LogiCORE IP product on Xilinx XA class devices.

These devices are ordered by referencing ordering codes of the format:

XAxxxxx-yyyyyyIzzzz, or
XAxxxxx-yyyyyyQzzzz

(Example: XA3S1000-4FGG456Izzzz)

" zzzz" is a CAN device identifier which can be obtained from the local Xilinx sales office.

Licensees for Non-Automotive applications must use the CAN LogiCORE IP product on non-XA class devices.

For non-XA class devices, the CAN Site License Agreement limits the use of CAN LogiCORE IP products by customers to cumulative orders of 20,000 devices or less. If Licensee orders a cumulative quantity greater than 20,000 devices, Licensee must contact Robert Bosch GmbH, Corporate Licensing Department for an additional license.

By using the licensed materials, you are agreeing to be bound by the terms of the license.

Order, Registration, and Access Instructions
STEP
1	Order
	You may order the CAN LogiCORE IP from your local Xilinx sales representative.
	LogiCORE	Part Number
	CAN	DO-DI-CAN (Part number includes usage of both cores)
2	Register the CAN core On-line
	Once you purchase the CAN LogiCORE IP, you will be sent a registration card with a Product Serial Number. You will need the Product Serial Number to complete the LogiCORE IP registration process. The email address associated with your Xilinx.com account must also be a valid company email address in order for your registration to be approved.
3	Access and License the CAN core
	Once you receive approval to access the LogiCORE IP Lounge, log in to the lounge and generate a Full License key for the CAN LogiCORE IP product for Core Generator™ software and an option to generate a Full License key for the XPS CAN or OPB_CAN LogiCORE IP products for EDK. The licenses must be installed on your machine to activate full access to the core(s).
