Through repeatedly working with Xilinx cores such as SPI-4 and PCI, Xilinx Design Services (XDS) has unrivalled knowledge of Xilinx connectivity and networking IP. By developing custom high-speed interfaces, XDS has learned how to use the architectural features of the Xilinx FPGA to maximize performance. XDS has gained the technical expertise required to maximize the benefit of the RocketIO transceivers, present in Xilinx's most advanced FPGAs, by building gigabit serial interfaces such as Ethernet, Fibre-Channel and Serial RapidIO for customers. By working with Xilinx customers to build full production quality systems, XDS has the skills to provide the necessary higher layer protocol functions in FPGA logic or embedded software.
