Course Description

The course provides a thorough introduction to the Vivado® High-Level Synthesis (HLS) tool. This course covers synthesis strategies, features, improving throughput, area, interface creation, latency, testbench coding, and coding tips. Utilize the Vivado HLS tool to optimize code for high-speed performance in an embedded environment and download for in-circuit validation.

Software Tools

  • Vivado HLS System Edition 2018.2
  • SDx™ development environment 2018.2

  • Architecture: Zynq® UltraScale+™ MPSoC, Zynq®-7000 SoC, and 7 series FPGAs*
  • Demo board: Zynq-7000 SoC ZC702 or ZedBoard and Kintex®-7 FPGA KC705 board*

* This course focuses on the Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC, Zynq-7000 SoC, and 7 series FPGA architectures. Check with your local Authorized Training Provider for the specifics of the in-class lab board or other customizations.
