High Level Synthesis (HLS) and software defined creation of hardware with the Vitis Unified Software Platform from AMD open new perspectives for smarter control and allow you to boost your productivity. Fast embedded RAM, embedded scalable DSPs and a high throughput internal infrastructure accelerate your solution.

Vitis comes with all you need to convert your existing software designs partially or completely in programmable logic. Synthesis from C and C++, SW profilers, Data Mover functions are provided inherently by the design flow. The Electric Drives Demonstration Platform (EDDP) helps to understand the concept quickly. Smarter Control extends beyond this. Access real-time data from connected devices and create control loops which adapt immediately to changes in your production line. AMD provides example solutions on Python for the EDDP through GitHub as an Open Source design called IIoT-SPYN.
