When I try to create an area group for a hierarchical module in my design, I drag and drop the module into the workspace panel and Project Navigator crashes. How do I get around this problem?
To work around this issue, either use a 32-bit version of Windows or Linux (32- or 64-bit).
This problem has been fixed in the latest 9.1i Service Pack available at:
http://www.xilinx.com/xlnx/xil_sw_updates_home.jsp
The first service pack containing the fix is 9.1i Service Pack 2.
